Governance

Apex Collaborative Trust is governed by the Board of Trustees.

The Board has overall responsibility for all operations and activities including the quality of the education provided by its schools. It is primarily accountable to the Members of the trust and also to external stakeholders and government agencies, including the Department for Education for the work carried out across the trust.

The Board sets and reviews the vision, direction and strategy of the trust.

Holds the CEO of the trust to account for standards of teaching and learning and the delivery of strategy.

3.

Has overall supervision of finances and resources.

Governance across each school within the trust is delegated to the Local School Committee (LSC). Overall operational management is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer.
